Oct 5th - Our annual quiz night this year was set by GH and consisted of 50/50 motoring & general knowledge questions. 44 MHVC members and guests from CVEC/H&H CVC battled to win the bottles of wine.

Surprise, surprise one of the MHVC teams won (this has not happened in recent memory) and the H&H CVC were runners up. Thanks to GH for setting the quiz and for all attendees.

Nov 2nd - A good turn out of members witnessed the Chairman's successful attempt at the AGM speed record (0 to less than 60 minutes!)

Both he, the secretary and the treasurer informed everyone that thanks to the members the club was in a good financial state and there would be no increase to membership fees. There being no new nominations for the committee, the existing committee was re- elected unopposed for 2009/2010. Thanks to everyone who attended and here's to another

successful year!
