History

When the club was founded in 1967 (MVCC) it was originally to serve the interests of owners & enthusiasts of Pre-1940 motor cars.

In 1996 the constitution was amended to include cars up to 1950 and since 2000 the club has been opened to include

all vehicles built 30 years or more ago.

The MHVC became a limited company in 2004

The Club is a member of the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs
